I’ve been negligent in keeping this blog up to date. Hopefully in turning a new leaf.
I went out to a local park tonight, Lone Elm Park, to do a Parks On The Air activation. The park has 3 of the National Historic Trails running through it. In one setting I can activate the Santa Fe, Oregon & California trails. Always a good time.
Tonight I used the Elecraft KX2 with 5 watts and an End Fed Half Wave antenna to operate on the 20 meter band. I made 15 Morse Code contacts in 23 minutes.
