After a long period of not doing any POTA activations, I got out to a local park where the Santa Fe National Historic Trail passes through. It has been a while since I’d done cw, so I started on ssb. I only had about an hour, so I took the KX2 and a Pactenna random wire antenna. Once set up, I spotted myself and proceeded to make 13 quick contacts. Then I hunted cw and got 3 quick contacts. At that point I decided to call it good and packed it up to continue my day.
Next up? Will brush up on my cw and activate another park cw only.
