The weather (wind) finally cooperated and I was able to get out to Hillsdale State Park for a Parks On The Air activation. It was sunny and warm for February

Monday and Tuesday of this week were extremely windy and, given my experience at Neosho State Fishing lake, I decided to not go out for Parks On The Air activations.

This morning I made a 2 hour drive south of my QTH, here in Olathe Kansas, to Neosho state fishing lake. It was a new park for me to activate
Summer POTA 8/12/2025
During the summer months my wife and youngest daughter play in an evening ladies golf league. They go out on either Tuesday or Wednesday evening depending on tee time availability.
